CAN'T LET GO?

If you have ever been around kids, then you will know that there are things to learn from them. What I will be talking about today is
forgiveness. If there is one thing I have learnt from being around kids, it is that they forgive easily. Although they fight very often about toys, someone taking the other persons belonging etc. they still get along. I don't know how they fight one minute and the next minute it is like nothing happened. They have this care-free spirit and don't hold grudges. That is a very good attitude we all should inculcate into our daily lives.
Medically, holding grudges affects your heart rate especially when the person you have the grudge against is around, it also increases your blood pressure. You get agitated easily and this grudge can lead to resentment and revenge of some sort which at the end of the day does no good to anyone.
Sometimes it can be difficult to forgive. I know, I get the feeling I have been there at some point but think about it. How long will you continue to hold on to that grudge and let it eat you?. I am very sure that the person you have something against doesn't even know and is living their life. So why hold that grudge?. Learn from the kids and learn to let go. Having peace of mind is what really matters and you can't have it while holding on to a grudge. Forgive not for others but for yourself and move on.

“Let today be the day you finally release yourself from the imprisonment of past grudges and anger. Simplify your life. Let go of the poisonous past and live the abundantly beautiful present... today.”
